TARTARUS ZONE ACT 1
~Clashing Cerberus

BOSS- TAILS VS. C.E.R.B.E.R.U.S.

Cerberus' three heads roar to indicate its attack as it charges at him. Tails dodges and lets Cerberus crash his heads into a stone wall and give him a headache while he tries to attack. But when Tails moves in for the attack, he notices that Cerberus has no weakness. His attacks don't even do anything. Cerberus is literally invincible. There is nothing Tails can do to beat him. All he can do is follow Twilight's advice and just outlast the time it takes her to return. Tails doesn't give up, but he isn't stupid. He chooses to stop attacking and just focus on staying alive.

Twilight returns and shouts "STOOOOOOP!!!* and gets both of their attention. Twilight holds out a bouncy rubber ball in front of Cerberus.

Twilight: Remember me, Cerberus? I'm Twilight! We played ball when Fluttershy gave you a bell rub, remember?

Cerberus starts panting happily and lowers down to Twilight.

Twilight: You do! Great! And I'm sure you remember her, don't you? Did you see where she went?

Cerberus' three heads look at each other and shake their heads in responce.

Tails: The Ring... it's...

Angel: I'm sorry to say. But there is no doubt. I was hoping that this wouldn't be the case. But the one you wish to save... Fluttershy is in their.

Tails: No doubt, huh? I was afraid of that. Twilight! She's in there! Somewhere behind this gate!

Twilight: Wait... but that's Tartarus! Cerberus! I thought you were supposed to guard it to keep any and ALL intruders out! That includes my friends!

Cerberus:....WE WERE ASLEEP...THE GATE WAS OPENED...WE WERE INCOMPETENT...

Tails: THEY CAN TALK?!?!

Twilight: *Walks closer to the gate* So... she just ran in there?! She'd never do that! Why here?! That's impossible!

Tails: Consider her situation. During the invasion, she would've ran blindly in any direction away from whatever she was running from. But now that she IS in there, we have to get her out now! Who knows how long she's been in there?!

Twilight: Poor Fluttershy! She's always skittish and afraid of things here in this world! The savage and evil demons of Tartarus would tear her apart and eat her up! She'd never last!

Tails: But since her signal is still beaming to the Angel's Ring, she's definitely still alive! We have to act now! How do we open the gate?!

Twilight: I don't know. I think Cerberus could. Cerberus! You can understand me, right? We need you to open the gate to Tartarus!

Cerberus: WHY?! WHY WOULD WE DO THAT?! FOR THE MORTALS OF THE LIVING WORLD?!

Twilight: We need you to so we can save our friend!

Cerberus: *Snarls and blows air out of his nostrils at Twilight* RRRRRGH... NO!

Twilight: NGH! Please! Our friend and our whole world is at stake here! Innocent lives are in danger! Friends and families could be lost! We need our friend out of there and back with us so we can help save our world!

Cerberus: IF WE WERE TO LET YOU IN...IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT TO GET YOU OUT...NONE ESCAPE FROM TARTARUS...

Twilight: But we have to try! *Face turns serious* A very special friend is trapped in there and she doesn't belong there! We don't just need her, but we also want her back with us. Friends don't abandon each other!

Cerberus: OBVIOUSLY...IF SHE IS IN THERE...SHE DOES BELONG THERE...

Twilight: Do you even know who you're talking about?! FLUTTERSHY?! The one who gave you a belly rub?! The one who treated you like a good dog! The one who gave you kind love?! The pony who wouldn't hurt a fly, but treat it back to health instead?! WHY WOULD SHE BELONG WITH THE ETERNALLY CONDEMNED?! That makes no sense! She DOESN'T belong there! She belongs with us! And there is nothing in this world OR in the world that you guard that's going to stop us from saving her!

Cerberus: YOU CANNOT PUSH US ASIDE! GIVE UP! WE ARE NOT GOING TO OPEN THE GATE!

Twilight: You're so dark-hearted that you would just let her die in there?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?

Cerberus: WE HAVE OUR DUTIES...TO KEEP ALL INTRUDERS OUT...WE FAILED ONCE, BUT NOT AGAIN!

Twilight: Don't you see?! By holding us back, you're letting this world die! By holding us back, you're failing your OWN duty! There is still an intruder in there! We're going to get her out, but we need you to OPEN THE DOOR NOW!!! *Eyes turn red hot and mane ignites ablaze*

Cerberus: SHE IS CORRECT...WE STILL ARE FAILING OUR DUTY...WHAT WOULD OUR MASTER THINK OF US?...WHAT WOULD FLUTTERSHY THINK OF US?...SHE IS A GOOD PONY...*Snorts and steps toward the gate* YOU DO REALIZE WHAT YOU ARE DOING, CORRECT?

Twilight: Huh? Yes... YES! We do!

Cerberus: EVEN KNOWING WHAT IS AT STAKE...YOU STILL PUSH ONWARDS INTO THE FACE OF TARTARUS...FOR YOUR FRIEND...VERY WELL... *Stomps the ground and all three heads roar to force the gates of Tartarus opened with dark aura coming out of the doorway* RRRROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-RUUUUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Tails: AAAAH!!!!

Twilight: TAILS! STEP BACK!

Tails: Twilight... You did it!

Cerberus: YOU INDEED HAVE...JUST DO NOT SAY...WE DID NOT WARN YOU!

Twilight:....Thank you, Cerberus. C'mon, Tails! We only get one chance! Let's go!

Tails: Right! *They run in* Thanks. And sorry about earlier!

Cerberus: HMPH! SORRY DOES NOT SAVE YOU FROM TARTARUS...REDEMPTION DOES...DO NOT FAIL!

Tails and Twilight run into Tartarus and pass through the barrier. It's kind of painful on the way in with electricity. Soon after, as the doors close, Sonic and Rainbow Dash run up to it to follow, but are rejected. I guess they were too slow. Ironic.

Sonic: HEY! GET OUT OF THE WAY!

Rainbow Dash: Let us in! If our friends are going in, we have to!

Cerberus: FORGET IT! WE OPENED THE DOOR ONCE FOR THEM! WE SHALL NOT OPEN TWICE!

Sonic: RRRGH!!! Tails!

Rainbow Dash: Twilight!

Tails: Sonic?!

Twilight: Rainbow Dash?! Is that you?!

Sonic: *Calling through the gates* Tails! You there?!

Tails: Yeah! But we have to get moving! I'm sorry, but we're gonna have to split up again! We have to save Fluttershy! Don't worry, we'll be back soon!

Twilight: Rainbow! We need you two to help the other ponies! Liberate the other parts of Equestria and meet up with the rest of our friends! The Elements of Harmony should be in the Ruins of the Royal Sisters! The one in the EverFree Forest! You go find them and meet back here! We'll meet up after this is all done!

Rainbow Dash: You sure you'll be alright?!

Twilight: Don't worry! I have Tails on my side! There's no way I can fail!

Tails: Aww... Thanks...

Twilight: Alright. You know what you have to do! Get going! Cerberus! We'll be back soon with Fluttershy!

Sonic:....Alright! You two better be alive and kickin' when we get back! *Runs off*

Rainbow Dash: *Salutes* Good luck, Twilight! *Flies and catches up to Sonic*

Twilight: Tails.

Tails: Yeah?

Twilight: Let's go. Fluttershy's waiting!

They both hurry off to begin the next Act.
