A young girl about 6 years old with (h/c) hair that went down just to about her shoulders stood at the edge of a pond in the middle of a fairly open field quite a distance away from the nearest park, staring intensely into its calmly rippling water with focused (e/c) eyes. Her reflection stared back at her, surrounded by a few lily pads which sat gently on the tip of the water’s surface. A few minutes passed in silence as she continued to stand there, the only sounds being the calm breeze as it moved through the grass and the tiny splashing of the water as it gently hit some of the rocks at the edge of the pond.

NiGHTS Dreams Are Within CH4 RE-UPLOADED

In my deepest dreams, I never would have thought the greatest stories could've been written from inspiration from another dream. I suppose sometimes one has to look to another mind to find the true great ideas. To put it simply, think outside the box. My new friend has successfully shown me that light. I owe her so much for that. I guess saving her would be the least I could do. So... wait. Why am I still writting this?! I have work to do! And I've got everything I need to do it! I'm just repeating myself.... And I'M STILL WRITTING IN THIS!!! Stop it already! Get to the flipping chapter already! DUDE!!!

{4 Seasons Halfway Point: StoneView} ~The Realization~

I dive down from the sky to the ground in the center of the town below. Just before hitting the ground, I pull back up and fly infront of the moon and head to the first Seasonal Mountain! Time to begin the endgame!

We start at Spring Mountain and find Blue Chips scattered about the cherry blossom trees. We fly a whole lap around the first mountain to obtain atleast 20 of them to open a Capture Cage. But inside it is not an Ideya or anything, but a tiny red shard. When we go to grab it, it disappears but reappears on NiGHTS' chest.

NiGHTS: Ah, here we go! That feels a bit better!

Johnathan: So, that's it, huh? The shard on your chest is the key to what we need to do. No problem!

NiGHTS: Yeah, but don't forget what I told you. You need to take on the 3 challenges of your heart to win.

Johnathan: Don't really know how that will save Maddie, but okay.

NiGHTS: The woman never bothered to explain it to me either. But I trust her words.

As we move up to Summer Mountain, we are stopped by face that I have seen as my enemy in all the time that I have spent as an author. An enemy to all who understand his true motives.

[Tails Doll]

Johnathan: YOU!

Tails Doll: *Eyes glow red*.....

NiGHTS: Just the one I never wanted to see!

Tails Doll: Sunshine.... Can you feel it?

Johnathan: Oh just shut up! Let's get him, NiGHTS!

NiGHTS: Yeah!

READY FIGHT!

Tails Doll: INTRODUCING... SEGA SATURN!

We start by racing against the Tails Doll through the town with "Super Sonic Racing (Generations Remix)" playing! As we race against him, we resort to attacking each other.

Tails Doll: Why do you hate the adorable?

Johnathan: When I see through them and know what they truly are, that's when I don't like them. Deception is a cruel monster. You would know.

Tails Doll: But I'm not evil. I just want to love you.

Johnathan: And by "love" do you mean "kill"?! Don't try that with me!

NiGHTS: A little closer! DRILL DASH!

Johnathan: GO!

Tails Doll: *Gets hit* ARZZRRG!!! WHY?!

Johnathan: Because you asked for it!

The music switches to "For True Story" from Sonic Adventure 2 and Tails Doll catches up to us much angrier. He has a red glow to him and tries to ram into us while flying like a ghost.

Tails Doll: Time to be serious. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. DIE!

We avoid his incoming attacks and eventually bounce off a building and knock him back with a powerful Drill Dash! Afterwards, we do a Paraloop to end this phase! But he isn't done yet! Once NiGHTS and I successfully did a decent amount of damage, he pulls out a butcher's knife to try to slice us!

Tails Doll starts singing "Can You Feel The Sunshine" from Sonic R only to be interrupted.

Johnathan: Ugh... I hate that song. Hey, by the way, Tails Doll. It's kind of hard to take you seriously when you get hit by a cat.

Tails Doll: What?

The Nyan Cat stops his song and flies right into him while it's theme plays! *BLAM!!!*

Tails Doll: AH!!! WHAT?! NO!!! STOOOOOP!!! *Nyan Cat flies him into a wormhole and is torn apart and explodes* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! *KA-BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!*

The two of us clap as the wormhole closes and explodes into fireworks with the Nyan Cat's face as the fireworks!

We now continue flying on to Summer Mountain and we see a chained up cage in the middle! It holds another red shard inside it! We try to break it free, but only go right through it. The only way to free it is to unlock the three locks. So, we fly around to find the keys to opening it. They're all held and guarded by little imps on birds called Goodies! We fly after them to catch them and grab the keys! After going around the mountain several times, we manage to get all three of them and unlock the three locks to the cage and reclaim the red shard! We head back to the town to begin the second challenge before going to Autumn Mountain. We are met with a figure floating above the center of town. The figure looks like the Nordic Maren that NiGHTS saw before. But when it turns around, it looks like..... Dominion. What... What?!

[ScrEEch-Dominion?]

NiGHTS: What? Dominion?!

Johnathan: My fanmaren?! But how?!

Dominion?: All those times you humiliated me, you didn't think that for one second, I wouldn't retaliate one day? *Morphs*

[ScrEEch-Void the CyberWolf?]

Void?: You treated us all like scrap! What gave you the idea that we wouldn't get you back for that?! You barely did anything with me! *Morphs*

[ScrEEch-Okami Soupu?]

Soupu?: You waste time. Just doing fanart when all of us wait for our stories! *Morphs*

[ScrEEch-Viktor Kingfisher?]

Viktor?: When will you stop being lazy and get back to my story?! You've kept it on hiatus for months! AGAIN! *Morphs*

Hanna?: I want my turn too! Please! I want a story so bad, I could shoot an arrow into your knee! *Morphs*

Zihark?: What's taking you so long?! I only got a cameo in one of your stories! And you're not even done that one!

Johnathan: Hey! I'm working on it! Writter's block just got in the way. Not to mention a bunch of other ideas and real life situations!

Zihark?: Oh, so THAT'S your excuse!? *Morphs*

Bimoki?: When... will I get a turn?

Johnathan: Bimoki. I intended for you to be a silent protagonist! And I'm still working on you. Please! Be patient.

NiGHTS: Who are all these characters here, Johnathan?!

Johnathan: They're all several characters that I've come up with in my head over the years. I wanted to get to work on their stories, but I never got the chance. I either got stuck on some parts, couldn't think of anything good, and events in reality came up and hit me. The first two were fan characters for the NiGHTS and Sonic series. But the rest of them are just a few of the original characters for stories that I had planned for the future. But sometimes I fear that I may not ever get them out. Almost as if I can't do it. I must be a terrible author if I can't even give them any slight work.

NiGHTS: You're not a bad author, Johnathan. I've seen what you write and it's good. Maddie even said so!

Johnathan: But... those were only good to some because they were able to recognize it. If I put in any original work on DA without publishing it, I don't know if anyone would give it any time of day to read. This is just one example. Bimoki is my newest creation and the kid wants to be known. But I still have so much to do for him. I still have so many others that ScrEEch has yet to even show.

NiGHTS: But Johnathan. Being an artist isn't about becoming known. It's about freely expressing yourself through your art for people around you enjoy. You don't have to worry if people don't like it. You only have to think about you. And ask yourself this. Do you like it? And do you look for it to be perfect? If you do, ask yourself: "Does it really have to be perfect?"

Johnathan:.....My art. My stories. My characters. They were all creations from the many parts of my mind. I made them out of parts of my own personality that make up my mind, my dreams, my wishes, and my point of view. I made them to become real in the world of fiction. And yet I haven't given any work on them yet. But I was so worried that nobody would think anything of them. But now I see that I can still make them! I always have! I may not be able to top the greatest stories in history, fiction or non-fiction! But I don't have to! As long as one person accepts them, I know that they still have a chance! Thanks, NiGHTS. I feel better now.

ScrEEch flies up to NiGHTS and hugs her.

NiGHTS: ACK! HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

ScrEEch: Thank you. We all thank you!

NiGHTS: LET GO OF ME! What is with your obsession with hugging?!

Johnathan: Yeah, you see... Remember when I said you were my favorite videogame character? Yeah... ScrEEch is my voice. It was a creation of all my personalities put into one character. Both male and female and neither. And ScrEEch knows everything that I know.

ScrEEch: I will go now. Keep me on your mind when you think of more stories, Johnny. *Vanishes*

Johnathan: Eheh... Sure I will.

NiGHTS: You really are full of surprizes.

Johnathan: Told ya.

NiGHTS: But why a Nordic Maren?

Johnathan: Because I have some ideas for later.

We continue on to Autumn Mountain! Which I must say is brilliant with its red and yellow leaves over the trees of the mountain! The red shard in the next cage is wearing out and needs the scattered red cores. This seems a bit harder since it they hide in the trees' leaves. Like finding a nail in a haystack. But it's gotta get done.

NiGHTS: Well, gotta do it, right?

Johnathan: Nobody else is. So yeah.

We search high and low and end up finding enough cores to break it opened. The third red shard is ours and we move on to the town where we spot a familiar face over in the distance! It's Maddie! She seems to be falling from the sky! Wait... How did she get there?! Nevermind that! We hurry to saving her but before we can, she is yanked back upwards like a yoyo!

Maddie: AAAAAAAH!!!!! WHOA!!! Knock it off! I'm getting sick!

?????: Quit complaining! Atleast you're not dead! And besides, I need you for this as bait to draw him in!

Johnathan: Draw who in?! You wouldn't happen to be talking about me, would you?

?????: Yes. As a matter of fact, I am. *Turns around and shows his face with a Persona on it. Hello, creator.

[Persona Dominion: Control]

Johnathan: Dominion?

NiGHTS: So that's the real Dominion? Huh. He looks different from what ScrEEch changed into.

Johnathan: That was the prototype that ScrEEch changed into. This is the real one alright. And he has a Persona, I see.

Maddie: Huh? Johnathan? HEY! DOWN HERE!

Johnathan: Oh shoot! I forgot! MADDIE! Hang on! I'll get you down soon!

Maddie: Hang on?! I'M DANGLING FOR MY LIFE VIA INVISIBLE PUPPET STRINGS!!! HOW CAN I NOT HANG ON?!?!

Johnathan: Noted..... Alright. Dominion! Let her go, NOW!

Control: Of course. I've gotten bored with her anyways. I'll let her go. Right NOW! *Drops Maddie*

Maddie: AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Johnathan: HEY! NiGHTS! GO!

NiGHTS seperates and flies in to dualize with Maddie.

NiGHTS: I gotcha!

Maddie: *Panting* Whew. Thanks, NiGHTS. Hey! Johnathan! We're coming back up! *Flies up to me* Next time, watch how you word it.

Johnathan: Noted. Glad you're safe.

NiGHTS: Nightmaren! Wake up!

Johnathan: NiGHTS? What are you doing?

NiGHTS: Maybe I can reason with him. I want you two to go to Winter Mountain. I'll do this myself.

Johnathan: Hold on! You might not be able to reason with him that easily!

NiGHTS: Yeah. But if that doesn't work, then I'll just have to beat him. Now go. Get that last red shard! Take mine! You'll need it!

Maddie: But won't you weaken without it?

NiGHTS: You're right. But I'll just have to grin and bear it. Get going! NOW!

Johnathan: Okay. Let's go, Maddie!

Maddie: Oh... Okay. Good luck, NiGHTS!

Control: Heheheh... just what I had wished since I was created! The annihilation of the most powerful Maren! But without your Red Ideya Shard, you've just made this too easy! Get ready to perish, NiGHTS!

NiGHTS:..... Bring it on, Dominion!

READY FIGHT!

Control summons up a familiar looking boss for the first phase! It's Puppedren! He pulls on the strings and has it attack NiGHTS and knocks her to the ground below! NiGHTS tries to fly back up, but her flight is slightly hindered! This could be bad!

NiGHTS: Ugh! I didn't count on that happening. Uh-oh! *Dodges Puppedren's stomp* I need to get back up! *Flies back up, but feels a bit wobbly while doing so* Ugh... Maybe giving up my Red Ideya Shard pieces without being dualized with a Dreamer wasn't such a great idea.

Control: Hmph! Don't make this boring for me, NiGHTS! I want this to be satisfying! Puppedren! Get rid of her!

Puppedren readies a swing and attempts to hit NiGHTS!

NiGHTS: Whoa! *Dodges and clings onto Puppedren's arm* DYRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Gonna have to do better than that! Now I just gotta... AAAAH!!! *Holds on tight as Puppedren tries to shake her off* NOT FALL OFF! (That's it! You're going down, boy!) *Flies up to Control*

Control: Hmm? Oh, well now? You got passed his strings! Can't have that, now can we?

NiGHTS: I'm not here to play games, young Maren!

Control: That's too bad. Since I have some left over toys! And I hate being bored! Paladin!

[Paladin the Armor]

Paladin: Yes, sir.

Control: Cut the strings. Puppedren's role has ended. NiGHTS can't be having a platform.

Paladin: Understood. *Cuts Puppedren's strings and has it fall to its death* Farewell, Puppedren.

NiGHTS: That almost looked like it knew it was going to die. Did that giant marionette have feelings too? How could you just do that?!

Control: It really helps when have power over them! Power that not even Wizeman himself could hope to have! And now it's your turn! Paladin. ATTACK!

Paladin: Yes, sir! *Readies a lance and charges in*

NiGHTS is helpless without her flight control. She can only dodge out of the way. This is trouble!

Meanwhile...

Johnathan: This is the last one. Maddie! C'mere!

Maddie: Wow! What is that?!

Johnathan: The last red shard! But how do we open it?

Maddie: Well, look up! The other three are floating around it!

Johnathan: Son of a gun! You're right! So they're the key to opening the last one!

The other three break through the last cage and forms a completed Red Ideya Shard. The shard then creates two Red Ideya. The Red Ideya go into our hands and we begin to glow. We both then know what we have to do. We take the Red Ideya Shard back to NiGHTS as fast as possible! We arrive right as Paladin is about to strike NiGHTS down! We fly in and do our own tandum-Drill Dash! We knock Paladin right back and he flies into Control!

Johnathan & Maddie: NiGHTS!

Johnathan: Hey, NiGHTS. You alright?

NiGHTS: You're back? I'm fine. Did you get the shard?

Maddie: *Holds out the Red Ideya Shard* See for yourself!

NiGHTS: You... did it... Quick. Hand it here.

Maddie: Here you go.

NiGHTS Places it on her chest and a surge of energy shoots right through her! She comes back at full strength now!

NiGHTS: Thanks, you two. You did great! And I see you got your Red Ideya as well! Excellent! Now we're all at full power!

Johnathan: Yup! So how about we end this!

Control: You won't end the game. You just raised the stakes, is all. Paladin, get ready!

Paladin: Yes, sir!

?????: ENOUGH!!!!!!!!

A giant cloaked figure appears over the town of StoneView and shrouds it in shadows! He stares at us with his 6-eyed hands!

[Wizeman the Wicked]

Wizeman: Control! I though by now you would have finished them.

Control: Sorry, sir. You're right. I have no excuses other than I was having too much fun. Would you say now would be a good time to time to end the fun?

Wizeman: That's exactly as I a thought. I want you to put an end to this NOW! But perhaps, I should assist. I believe you will need it, young Persona. Don't disappoint me.

Control: Absolutely!

Maddie: I've had enough of you, Wizeman! You messed with me, you had my own creations mess with me, you put me through trash after crap! I'm done with that! It's payback time!

NiGHTS: That goes double for me! And I've been dealing with you since I was created by you! Face it! I'm not a child anymore! Wizeman, dead or alive, you aren't getting your way anymore!

Johnathan: Well, NiGHTS. Maddie. I think it's time we faced our greatest fears. (Dominion, Paladin. I set this up as it's going. I wrote all this for you to happen. You better not disappoint me either. Get ready for a rude awakening!) And put on the final cover to this story!

Time for the big finale! READY FIGHT!

StoneView was based off of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. I made it to be more of a small town inbetween hills and rivers with the church's belltower to act as the perch and the highest point above the town. I took a family trip there to see the place that my dad proposed to my mom. I enjoyed it so much, and I hope I get to go back there one day. I also bought my panflutes from there, ever since I've gotten really good at it. Back to the point, I'm glad I finally got back to this project! Gotta finish it eventually!

Maddie! You're up!
